In this weekend workshop, you will experience what it means to practice from a place of embodiment and deep attention. Janet approaches the practice through sadhana (daily ritualized practice) as a way to explore the power of chanting, storytelling, aligning from the inside out, and sequencing from a place of inner knowing. You get to immerse in an experience that is both inspiring and embodying. The weekend’s focus will help recalibrate your inner compass and provide practices, tools, and resources you can explore long after our time together comes to a close.
Each session begins with a comprehensive practice that includes meditation, pranayama, asana, and chanting. Afternoons will be an opportunity to dive into the heart of what it means to embody yoga. With practice as our starting point, we’ll access the body’s innate intelligence. In community, we’ll refine our personal intentions, skills, and knowledge.
The workshop is open to yoga practitioners, teachers, and therapists. If you want to deepen your practice, this workshop will help you understand a holistic approach to yoga. If you are a teacher, this workshop will support you in uncovering why you teach and what you uniquely have to offer.

Janet’s studentship began at 17 under the meditation teachings of Prem Rawat. His reverence for simplicity and finding joy in the rise and fall of life live on in her practice and teaching today. In 1996, she traveled to India, the birthplace of her grandfather, and became dedicated to the path of yoga. Janet blends the alchemy of her own practice with decades of studentship. She aspires not to teach but to allow the practice to emanate from her, letting awareness blend with movement and breath. Based in Bali and San Francisco, she leads immersions, retreats, workshops and more.
