Summer Yoga Gathering

Overview

Let’s meet together at Esalen, beneath the summer sun, and immerse in the power of movement, community, music, and the glory of this land and her three waters.

Janet Stone, MC Yogi, Narayan (NRYN), and Amanda Giacomini will welcome you to a journey so rich with connection and an opportunity to reset.

At the edge of the world, we will look simultaneously inward and outward to reintegrate ourselves into the natural world and our deep inner wisdom.

Through yoga, mythology, chanting, dancing, and music we’ll create a different kind of playground for the internal senses.

Come dance, sit, and wonder with us as we honor the naturalness of transition, the outward and inward, and the waxing and waning of this precious life. Please bring a yoga mat.

More information

The summer gathering can be applied as 25 hours toward Janet's training programs or Continuing Education.

A team of Janet's mentors and long-time assistants will also support this event: Sara Davis, Nikita Mehta, Katie Jacobson, Mark McCormick and Shane Tjin Wong Joe will be there to support the full experience.

Janet Stone

Janet’s studentship began at 17 under the meditation teachings of Prem Rawat. His reverence for simplicity and finding joy in the rise and fall of life live on in her practice and teaching today. In 1996, she traveled to India, the birthplace of her grandfather, and became dedicated to the path of yoga. Janet blends the alchemy of her own practice with decades of studentship.
