Art of Teaching Certification

Art of Teaching Certification

Overview

Teaching yoga is both a science and an art. It asks us to understand both the physical and subtle bodies, to sequence with both form and freedom, and to assist a whole person.

In this 3 course series, we'll explore the Art of Teaching.

Teaching yoga is about how deeply you inhabit what you practice. This pathway can transform how you show up in a room.

The path begins with the ground: alignment as an expression of vitality and ease.

Energetic Alignment explores how inner experience shapes outer form — mapping the prana vayus through the physical body, and teaching you to sequence from that energetic understanding rather than from convention alone. From there, Intuitive Sequencing picks up the thread, inviting you to trust your own knowing as you craft classes that move like a story — coherent, alive, responsive to what's in the room. By the time you arrive at Art of Assisting, you've built a foundation in your own body that touch becomes a natural extension of everything you've studied: listening, presence, and compassionate support expressed through your hands.

This pathway is for teachers who are ready to stop teaching from memory and start teaching from presence. It's for practitioners who want to understand the deeper grammar of the practice they love. And it's for anyone who has sensed that something shifts — in themselves, and in their students — when a teacher brings full awareness into the room.

This concentration offers 75 hours of study through 3 distinct courses:

  • Energetic Alignment: An exploration of the subtle body, especially through the pancha vayus
  • Intuitive Sequencing: Sequencing as Story
  • Art of Assisting: an exploration of compassionate and wise assists

The courses are presented in an on-demand format that blends community connection.

This program is designed to support you in teaching from your inner wisdom.
