This training is a pilgrimage into the heart of yoga, offering practitioners and teachers an opportunity to refine their path, recommit to their practice, and reconnect to the sacred. Through the lens of Dharma (purpose), Discipline (practice), and Devotion (heart), we will journey from inner inquiry to embodied expression.
Join me for a life-changing 3-week immersion in the sacred land of Mexico, where we will explore the profound dharma teachings of yoga to integrate these timeless practices into our daily lives. This training is designed for those who seek to deepen their understanding of yoga, not just as a physical practice, but as a way of life.
With over 25 years of teaching and 40 years of meditation practice, I lead from a place of deep devotion to bhakti yoga, guiding you through the rich teachings of yoga’s philosophy, meditation, asana, chanting, theming, and spiritual practice. Through this immersion, you will gain a deeper understanding of yoga’s ancient science, learning how to embody its principles to live with greater presence, purpose, and peace.
This immersion is for yoga practitioners, teachers, and seekers who wish to elevate their practice and teaching while staying true to the ancient teachings of yoga. You’ll leave not only with a deeper understanding of the dharma, but with the tools to live these teachings fully, radiating compassion, wisdom, and joy in your everyday life.
Come with an open heart, ready to explore the depths of yoga and to step into your true potential as a teacher and a practitioner.
The training will be divided into three themes, each lasting one week, allowing you to explore yoga from the inside out:
Theme: Purpose, Presence & Inner Listening
Overview:
We begin with a return to what calls us. Dharma is the soul’s direction—the quiet truth we’re meant to live and share. This week centers on intention, alignment, and clarity, both in life and in teaching.
Focus Areas:
Core Question: What am I here to offer?
Theme: Structure, Sadhana & Inner Fire
Overview:
Discipline (tapas) is the container that allows your dharma to take form. This week is about refining the physical, mental, and energetic systems through committed practice, ethical alignment, and honest self-inquiry.
Focus Areas:
Core Question: What practices keep me clear, strong, and grounded on the path?
Theme: Heart, Offering & Soulful Expression
Overview:
In the final week, we shift from self to service. Devotion (bhakti) reconnects us with the awe and reverence at the center of yoga. We explore how to lead from love, teach from essence, and live in sacred reciprocity.
Focus Areas:
Core Question: How do I serve from the heart?

Janet’s studentship began at 17 under the meditation teachings of Prem Rawat. His reverence for simplicity and finding joy in the rise and fall of life live on in her practice and teaching today. In 1996, she traveled to India, the birthplace of her grandfather, and became dedicated to the path of yoga. Janet blends the alchemy of her own practice with decades of studentship. She aspires not to teach but to allow the practice to emanate from her, letting awareness blend with movement and breath. Based in Bali and San Francisco, she leads immersions, retreats, workshops and more.
