Rhythm & Restore

Rhythm & Restore

Overview

In a world that asks us to move faster, produce more, and stay continually switched on, there is another rhythm waiting beneath the noise — the steady pulse of our own being. As an act of protest, we invite ourselves to slow down, listen inward, and remember what it feels like to feel and heal.

Through slow, nourishing yoga, restorative practices, Yoga Nidra, meditation, chanting, breathwork, and the deeply resonant medicine of live sound healing, we will explore the art of shifting from effort into receptivity. We will work with the nervous system rather than against it, cultivating greater regulation, spaciousness, resilience, and ease.

Our practices will support the body in releasing habitual patterns of tension and hypervigilance while inviting deep restoration. Gentle movement will awaken circulation and vitality without depletion; restorative postures and Yoga Nidra will create space for profound rest; breath, chanting, and sound will offer pathways into resonance and vagal toning.

At the heart of our time together is a simple question: What becomes possible when we stop pushing and begin listening? Together, we will cultivate the capacity to move between activation and rest, effort and surrender, movement and stillness — building strength not only through doing, but through the profound intelligence of rest.

Through the alchemy of live sound we will allow vibration, rhythm, silence, and resonance to carry us somewhere words cannot: a return to the sanctuary within.

Janet Stone

Janet Stone

Janet’s studentship began at 17 under the meditation teachings of Prem Rawat. His reverence for simplicity and finding joy in the rise and fall of life live on in her practice and teaching today. In 1996, she traveled to India, the birthplace of her grandfather, and became dedicated to the path of yoga. Janet blends the alchemy of her own practice with decades of studentship. She aspires not to teach but to allow the practice to emanate from her, letting awareness blend with movement and breath. Based in Bali and San Francisco, she leads immersions, retreats, workshops and more.
