Stories of Our Lives

Awakened Living Through Sacred Mythology. By Janet Stone
Published by Mandala Publishing
Distributed by Simon & Schuster
Stories of Our Lives: Awakened Living through Sacred Mythology invites readers into the living terrain of myth, memory, and becoming. Through ancient stories from the Indian tradition woven together with personal reflection, practice, and the timeless arc of transformation described by Joseph Campbell, Janet Stone reveals mythology not as something distant or symbolic, but deeply human and unfolding within our everyday lives.

These stories are not simply meant to be read. They are meant to be recognized.

Within each of us lives the seeker, the warrior, the devotee, the one who forgets, and the one who remembers. This book is an invitation to meet yourself inside the sacred stories—and perhaps begin to see your own life as part of something timeless, meaningful, and profoundly interconnected.
