Join me in Koh Samui for 10 days of deep immersion into the many layers of yoga—the practices, philosophy, stories, teachings, and the lived experience of embodying them.
Koh Samui retains a chill island vibe with quiet village, pristine beaches. Samahita is on the quiet south coast, a private beachfront and beautiful views. Food is locally sourced, farm-to-table with yogurt, sauces, and juices made fresh in house.

Samahita means centered — a place to recalibrate and restore balance. This purpose-built wellness retreat is more than a hotel; it’s a sanctuary where the spaces are designed to support your practice, your rest, and your transformation.
All rooms are just steps from the beach, the pool, the open-air yoga shala, and nourishing meals. Each room is simple, clean, and comfortable — designed for rest and renewal.
Upgrades are available. You can choose an upgrade option when you enroll. Please choose Garden Private plus your preferred upgrade. Upgrades are available on a first-come, first serve basis, so we'll confirm them with Samahita. Early bookings should be easy to confirm, and if your preferred upgrade is not available, we'll let you know what is available.

Janet’s studentship began at 17 under the meditation teachings of Prem Rawat. His reverence for simplicity and finding joy in the rise and fall of life live on in her practice and teaching today. In 1996, she traveled to India, the birthplace of her grandfather, and became dedicated to the path of yoga. Janet blends the alchemy of her own practice with decades of studentship. She aspires not to teach but to allow the practice to emanate from her, letting awareness blend with movement and breath. Based in Bali and San Francisco, she leads immersions, retreats, workshops and more.
The retreat begins on Saturday May 1, 2027 with check-in at Samahita Retreat in the afternoon. We close on Tuesday, May 11, 2027 after morning practice and brunch. We recommend arriving in Thailand early to ease into the time zone.
You'll fly into Koh Samui (USM) airport (most connecting flights go through Bangkok or Singapore). From there, Samahita is about 45 minutes by car. We'll help coordinate travel from the airport for those arriving on 1 May.
We highly recommend booking flights directly with the airline (it makes flight changes and adjustments much easier).
Samahita offers a wide variety of nourishing food, including vegan, raw, and pescatarian options. Allergens are labeled and dietary needs are respected.
Absolutely. Many people come solo and leave feeling part of a beautiful, supportive community. You’ll have the choice of a private room or shared accommodations. If you choose shared accommodations, we'll match you with a roommate also traveling solo.
Not at all. This immersion is open to all levels. The practice will be layered and intentional, with space for both beginners and longtime practitioners to go deep.
Please review our cancellation policy. We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect your investment, since we do follow the details outlined.
