The Pursuit of Sensation

"It is only when we understand the pursuit of sensation (drama), which is one of the major activities of the mind, that pleasure, excitement, and violence cease to be a dominant feature in our lives."
~ Jiddu Krishnamurti

From morning until night, we are drawn into the drama loop that spins through our own mind, our home, media, politics—you name it.

To participate in the world, yet not be a puppet of the wild undulations and near continuous drama wheel—well, this is the work. This means we still can feel all the feels, that we don't bypass our own suffering or that of the beings around us.

But the home of yoga is one that invites us to move courageously toward the still point, so that when we take action it is with clarity, fortitude, intention, and strength.

I'll find you in the breath and rooted into the earth.

OM Shanti Shanti Shanti
