The Foundations certificate is a 200 hour teacher training program designed as a flexible program that can be completed in as little as 9 months or as long as two years. We dive deep into the 8-limbed path of practice.

The program is an amazing way to deepen your practice, or to build a foundation for teaching yoga that emanates from your own commitment to living yoga.

For the 2024 cohort, the curriculum is divided into 3 components.

  • Foundational Curriculum (85 hours): Living the 8 Limbs virtual course (50 hours) and In Parts the Whole virtual anatomy course (35 hours)
  • Electives (90 hours): At least 15 of these hours must be in-person or as virtual synchronous trainings (in other words, live in real time)
  • Training Core (about 25 hours): 15 hours of live virtual sessions (joined live, in real time), midterm integration, book reflections and final integration + teaching capstone.

The 200-hour program is registered with Yoga Alliance. Upon successful completion of the program, you’ll receive a 200-hour certificate. You’ll have the option to register with Yoga Alliance at the 200-hour level.

Please email with all other questions.

Janet is an extremely wise and knowledgeable teacher who really lives the teachings. Her many years of experience shine through the course materials as well as how she responds to questions. I learned so much over the course of the training and I can say it has been personally transformational for me.
