This 2-course bundle explores yoga as a living practice that can infuse every moment with intention, attention, and presence.
Dharma is lived in the ordinary hours. In how we speak when we're tired. In what we reach for when something hard arrives. Our yoga mat can be a laboratory to observe the feelings that arise in moments of challenge, the intensity of consistently showing up, and how we react to uncertainty. Then there's the rest of our day, where that practice might ripple into a greater sense of ease, self-understanding, and responsiveness instead of reactivity.
This pathway allows us to explore practice through the compass of the 8 Limbs. Chanting gives that practice a voice, so that grief, longing, and joy all become fuel rather than weather we wait out.
Over 18 weeks we'll move through the yamas and niyamas one at a time, explore the energetic and physical practices of asana, pranayama, and pratyahara, and sit with the subtle limbs of dharana, dhyana, and samadhi. Then we'll immerse in the ancient mantras, the stories of the deities they invoke, and our connection with our own voices.
This concentration offers 80 hours of study through 2 distinct courses:
The courses are presented in an on-demand format that blends community connection.
Enrollment also includes 20 weeks of access to Janet's live practice membership.
Enrollment for the Living Dharma Concentration is open. Use the form below to enroll. As always, we offer options to pay in full, with a payment plan, and sliding scale rates. Partial scholarships are also available upon request.
Is this program eligible for Yoga Alliance certification?
This 80-hour concentration is eligible for Continuing Education through Yoga Alliance.
What are the prerequisites?
There are no formal prerequisites, but individuals with at least 6 months of steady yoga practice will get the most out of this offering.
What if I finish this certification and want to continue with one of Janet's teacher training programs?
You can absolutely apply the courses to Janet's training programs after the fact. email us for details on which teacher training program is the best fit and for info on how to apply the hours.
How long does the program take?
It's designed as 20 week series, but many will spend a bit more time (we all get busy sometimes). Once you are enrolled, you have ongoing access, so you can take 20 weeks or 20 months to finish, and you can revisit the content even after you have completed the courses.
What if I have taken one of the courses and want to add the other two?
Email us, we can help you with a discount code to offset your prior investment.
I'm interested in this, but I'd like to start with one of the courses. Is this possible?
Yes, absolutely. We recommend starting with Living the 8 Limbs. If you decide to add the rest of the certificaton later, you can reach out to us and we'll help you adjust the cost and access the other courses.
Who do I contact with questions?
